250 LM *5895* Maranello Concessionaires - Arnaud Menier

Finalmente disponibile l'ultimo lavoro di Arnaud Meunier, il giornalista-fotografo freelance autore di diversi libri dedicati alle Ferrari. Il nuovo libro è interamente dedicato alla storia della Ferrari 250 LM ch.5895.
Frutto di un lavoro minuzioso iniziato due anni fa è il risultato di molti anni di ricerche dedicate all'elenco di tutte le gare alle quali hanno partecipato le Ferrari 250 LM per fissare l'attenzione sul numero di telaio 5895.

La 250 LM pensata dalla Ferrari come il modello che sostituiva la GTO nella categoria Granturismo, non fu ritenuta tale dalle autorità automobilistiche internazionali e questa creò una grandi tensioni tra Enzo Ferrari e la Federazione. Rimane un modello importante nella storia della casa di Maranello, non solo per le sue belle linee ma anche per importanti vittorie, ottenute dai team privati per la quale correva, tra le quali la 12 ore di Reims, la 9 ore di Kyalami, la 500 km di Spa-Francorchamps, la 1000 km di Parigi e la 24 ore di Le Mans, che di fatto nel 1965 è l’ultima vittoria di una Ferrari a Le Mans.

La 250 LM ch. 5895 dei Concessionari di Maranello è proprio quella che ha riportato la prima vittoria assoluta di una 250 LM. La storia di questa berlinetta ha permesso all'autore di parlare anche della Scuderia inglese dei Concessionari di Maranello e quindi del colonnello "Ronnie" Hoare.

Il libro è diviso in 5 capitoli dove viene descritta con l’attenzione caratteristica di Meunier la storia del modello, la 250 Le Mans disegnata da Pininfarina e realizzata da Ferrari per le scuderie private: la storia de Garage “Maranello Concessionaires” l'inizio dell'importazione ufficiale della Ferrari in Gran Bretagna e del suo Team sportivo; l’identificazione di tutte le 250 LM iscritte in gara dal Racing Team Maranello Concessionaires; la storia della 250 LM ch.5895 dal 1964 ad oggi ed infine il registro di tutte e 32 le Ferrari 250 LM costruite con la loro storia e le partecipazioni a gare ed eventi sportivi. E’in quest’ultimo capitolo che anche Targapedia.com ha dato collaborato con l’autore fornendo fotografie inedite delle 250 LM che hanno partecipato alla Targa Florio.

Il volume è scritto in due lingue francese e inglese con una erlegante copertina rigida caratterizzata dai colori rosso e celeste del Team inglese.

Enfin disponible le dernier travail d'Arnaud Meunier, journaliste photographe indépendant, auteur de plusieurs livres consacrés aux voitures Ferrari. Le nouveau livre est entièrement consacré à l’histoire de la Ferrari 250 LM ch.5895. Le résultat d'un travail minutieux commencé il y a deux ans, il est le résultat de nombreuses années de recherche consacrées à la liste de toutes les courses auxquelles la Ferrari 250 LM a participé pour fixer l'attention sur le numéro de châssis 5895.

La 250 LM conçues par Ferrari comme le modèle remplaçant la GTO dans la catégorie Granturismo, n’a pas été considérées comme telle par les autorités internationales de l’automobile, ce qui a créé de grandes tensions entre Enzo Ferrari et la Fédération. Il reste un modèle important dans l’histoire de la maison Maranello, non seulement pour ses lignes magnifiques, mais également pour les victoires importantes, remportées par les équipes privées pour lesquelles elle a couru, parmi lesquels les 12 heures de Reims, les 9 heures de Kyalami, les 500 km de Spa-Francorchamps, les 1000 km de Paris et les 24 heures du Mans, ce qui en fait en 1965 est la dernière victoire d’une Ferrari au Mans.

La 250 LM ch. 5895 des concessionnaires Maranello est précisément celle qui a remporté la première victoire absolue d’une 250 LM. L’histoire de cette berlinetta a permis à l’auteur de parler également de la Scuderia anglaise des Concessionari de Maranello et donc du colonel "Ronnie" Hoare.
Le livre est divisé en 5 chapitres où l’histoire du modèle est décrite avec l’attention caractéristique de Meunier, la 250 Le Mans conçus par Pininfarina et créés par Ferrari pour les écuries privées : l'histoire de Garage "Maranello Concessionaires", le début de l'importation officielle de Ferrari en Grande-Bretagne et de son équipe sportive; l'identification de tous les 250 LM inscrits dans la course par le Maranello Concessionaires Racing Team; l'histoire des 250 LM ch.5895 du 1964 à aujourd'hui et enfin le registre des 32 Ferrari 250 LM construites avec leur histoire et leur participation à des courses et à des événements sportifs. C’est dans ce dernier chapitre que Targapedia.com a collaboré avec l’auteur en fournissant des photographies inédites des 250 LM ayant participé au Targa Florio.

Le livre est rédigé en deux langues française et anglaise avec une couverture cartonnée à l'effacement reprenant les couleurs rouge et bleu clair de l'équipe anglaise.
